The team at Higher Ground have been creating and hosting cycling tours in Europe since 2010. Whether it's an epic adventure from Budapest to Berlin, a climb-centric crossing of the Pyrenees, the excitement of Le Tour de France, or a leisurely e-bike ride through Tuscany, the team custom build all our programs to suit our guests' interests both on and off the bike.

Our services for guided and self-guided programs include ride route design, bike hire, guide & mechanic support, transport, local experiences and dining, non-rider programs, accommodation and more.

Where We Ride
Europe is the heartland of Higher Ground's cycling program and dates back to 2010 when HGTE's founder hosted his first group to the Tour de France.
Since then the team have hosted groups across France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany and Australia. Our pro-race experiences include twelve years at Le Tour, plus the Spring Classics, World Championships, Vuelta a Espana, Strade Bianche, and Giro d'Italia.
Our Team
Higher Ground have a dedicated team of guides based in Europe year-round that help design our programs and host our guests. Their local knowledge and love of what they do ensure that all our guests have a truly memorable experience and are immersed in great rides, incredible scenery and the local culture.

We know because we go: Whether its the roads we ride, the boutique wineries we visit, or the restaurants we dine at, our team are on the ground through our tour design process.

Our Bikes
Higher Ground Travel & Events have worked with the same bike supplier for over ten years. This partnership ensures our guests have a great range to select from including top of the line road, gravel and hybrid bikes, and e-road and e-hybrid bikes.
