World Championships

Experience the pinnacle of road cycling as the world's best go head to head chasing the glory of the rainbow jersey in the French Alps. Based at the luxury 4-star les Servages d'Armelle just 22km from the Elite Road Race start/finish, the tour combines regional rides & experiences, and gourmet local cuisine with cheering the world's best.

 

Whether you're riding the actual championship course yourself or cheering from the roadside, it's five days at the heart of world cycling's biggest event.

Event Program

25 August 2027: Arrival day, bike fit and welcome dinner

  • Guest will be met at Geneva Airport or Cluses Train Station and transferred to our tour base in the Alpine village of Araches-la-Frasse

  • Guests joining from the Gran Fondo World Championships will be transferred directly

  • Mechanic team on hand for bike set-up and post-flight troubleshooting, followed by a warm-up ride if time allows

  • Evening: Welcome Dinner overlooking the Aravis mountain range

26 August 2027: Elite Road Race course ride, Chamonix & Aiguille du Midi visit, Group Dinner

  • Riders: Supported ride (70-80km) from the hotel, including the course of the Elite Road Races and the Cote de Domancy - Route Bernard Hinault before finishing in Chamonix. As the last non-race day on the course there is a high likelihood that the pros will be out riding the course at the same time​

  • Tourers: Visit to the iconic alpine village of Chamonix, with a gondola ride up to the peak of the Aiguille du Midi to enjoy stunning views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding Alps of France, Italy and Switzerland. (Alternative options available for anyone with a fear of heights or gets altitude sickness)

  • All guests: Free time in Chamonix for lunch and exploring before returning to the hotel in the afternoon.

  • Evening: Group dinner at the hotel

27 August 2027: Hotel to Geneva ride, Geneva Walking Tour & Free Time

  • Riders: Guests will ride (70-80km) directly from the hotel an undulating course of regional roads and culminating with the last section on the shore of Lake Geneva as we arrive into Switzerland 

  • Tourers: Guests will be transferred to Geneva in the morning for a walking tour of the famous city. The group will visit the Old Town, lakeside area and discover the artistic side to the city

  • All guests: Guests will rejoin in Geneva for free time for lunch and to further explore before a transfer back to the hotel

  • Evening: Group dinner at the hotel

28 August 2027: Morning Group Ride, Elite Women's Race 

  • Riders: The morning ride (50km) will take on the Col de Pierre Carree through to the alpine ski village of Flaine before then descending down to the valley floor and riding through to the race route

  • Tourers: Guests will enjoy a morning at leisure however are also welcome to take in one of the many walking trails near to the hotel

  • All guests: Late morning the group will transfer to Sallanches to watch the Elite Women's Road Race, live from the start/finish area or by making their to one of the many vantage points on the 12km circuit - Race hospitality options will be reviewed once released by the UCI

  • Evening: Dinner at the hotel

29 August 2027: Morning Group Ride, Elite Men's Race & Farewell Dinner

  • Riders: The morning ride (40km) will descend to the valley floor before adding some back roads on the way through to the start village of Sallanches and the climb of Domancy

  • Supporters: Guests will be transferred through to the start village area or base of the climb to meet the riding group

  • All guests: During the afternoon the group will enjoy the incredible atmosphere of the Men's Elite Road Race- Race hospitality options will be reviewed once released by the UCI

  • Evening: A farewell dinner will be held at the hotel

30 August 2027: Program concludes after breakfast

  • Guests will be transferred to Cluses Train Station and Geneva Airport after breakfast

Group rides will be supported by a riding guide(s) and support/mechanic vehicle. Rides are carried out at a comfortable pace to suit the group and will require some re-grouping stops along the way. All rides are optional and guests may choose take the day off the bike.

All packages are subject to availability at time of booking. Rates are subject to change until bookings are confirmed and deposits received. Full terms and conditions are provided at time of booking, including payment schedule, cancellation & change fees.

*Team mechanic services are limited to on-site mechanical support for assembly, tuning, troubleshooting and base level repairs and maintenance. More complex repairs are subject to time available and the availability of parts (cost additional). Guests are recommended to bring their own spares such as hangers, chains, cables, tyres, tubes, bar tape, lube, hydraulic fluid and the like as the mechanic is not able to carry the breadth of parts required for all different bike types and bike shops in the area are quite limited.
